ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

We strive to operate in as sustainable and low carbon way as possible. 

Wherever possible our documents, drawings and stationery are printed on recycled paper or card, our print cartridges are re-filled, our tea and coffee is Fairtrade and our energy provider is committed to renewables.  Computer equipment is shut down when not in use and the office functions on natural light during daylight hours.

                              

We combine meetings to minimise car journeys, we cycle to local meetings and we support local businesses and services. All our waste paper is recycled and our shredded paper is composted.  We use ecological cleaning products and recycled kitchen and toilet paper.                     

We design all our schemes to function with reduced energy and water use and we encourage our clients to aim high against the Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM environmental assessments.  This includes insulating to high standards and using FSC certified timber, healthy construction materials, renewable energy sources, low energy light fittings and A-rated appliances.
